Frank regularly cleans up two very challenging blocks and reimagines a better way of making our cities cleaner and happier.

November 2018

Receives 501(c)(3) letter confirming nonprofit status for AdoptOneBlock.

End of 2019 - Early 2020

Frank fails and then fails a second and third time to develop the technology solution that would enable a new approach to community engagement he had originally envisioned.

Version 2 of the website launches giving Block Ambassadors the ability to claim and care for a second block.

The third version of the website and mapping application launches with Oregon's first-ever Community Cleanup Calendar freely available to all. Also AdoptOneBlock reveals its heat map of block adoptions (our most requested visual), easily accessible from our landing page.

First We Believe in Portland event brings together 130 businesses and 500 volunteers to clean up downtown Portland.
